National Robotics Competition (NRC)
Open call for participation
Open call for participation
National Robotics Competition is one of Singapore’s largest robotics competition, organised by Science Centre Singapore since 1999. There are a series of competition events utilising a range of robotics platforms for students to participate in.
Nullspace Robotics is doing a limited open call for participation in NRC Regular Category under our Novice Team Competition Programme. If your child has a strong interest in LEGO Robotics, this is your chance to let them experience learning more about robotics through solving a competition mission!

*Note: Nullspace Robotics students who have completed the Robotics Certificate Programme (Advanced Level) will be invited to join our main competition teams for National Robotics Competition and World Robot Olympiad.

Register your interest using the form link below. Registration closes on 20 June 2025. We will be in touch by 27 June 2025 to confirm your child’s participation in the NRC competition.
We have limited participation slots available across training location and training dates. Slots will be assigned on a first-come-first served basis.
Currently there is only weekly Thursday 3.30pm-6pm training slot. Feel free to indicate and rank your preferred choice of location on the google form. Do note that we can only start a class at a certain location if there is a minimum number of participants to form teams at the location.
In the case where there the location is full or if there are insufficient students to form teams, we will contact you to see if you would like to participate at another location based on your preferred choice ranking.
We do not have make up sessions for missed sessions as the training is done as a team. For students who miss sessions due to illness, we will get the other teammates to cover for them to ensure that the team’s progress is not affected.
Yes your child can form a team together with other friends if you register together.
No, unfortunately students cannot represent both Nullspace and their school for the National robotics competition. If your child is chosen to represent the school, they will not be able to participate with Nullspace.
Nullspace Robotics students who have completed the Robotics Certificate Programme (Advanced Level) will be invited to join our main competition teams for National Robotics Competition and World Robot Olympiad.
Kids who have not completed the Robotics Certificate Programme can still participate in the National Robotics Competition with us under the Novice Team Competition Programme.
The main goal of the novice competition team is to give students the experience and learning opportunity for solving robotics missions. As a national level competition event, the competition is stiff and winning an award is dependent on the team’s skill and preparedness.
